Therapy
Our Approach
Our sessions aren’t always serious; they are often energetic, warm, empathetic, and infused with humor.
We are here to support all types of emotions you express in sessions, and help you identify, feel, and work through them.
We look at your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, family patterns, relationships, and environment and figure out how to make everything work together in a way that is better for you.
Individual Therapy
It’s all about you. Sort of. It’s also about your environment, family, and life experience. We work with you one-on-one to help you grow.
Whether it is challenges with eating, struggles with anxiety, discomfort with family issues, relationships, or in times when you need extra support, therapy is a great way to figure out how to move forward in a more sustainable and fulfilling way.
Family Therapy
Sometimes, we get a lot more accomplished when we work together with parents, siblings, and/or partners. This can be especially true for adolescents.
We work with teens and their families in order to help the whole family communicate and interact more effectively.
Teens & Young Adults
We haven’t been teenagers in a while, but we do hear it’s pretty rough out there. Navigating academics, friendships, romantic relationships, extracurriculars, work, family, and everything else is quite the task.
We’re here to help teenagers identify their values and priorities. We support young adults in engaging in introspective thinking (and feeling) in order to get clarity on what they want, what works for them, and how to effectively explore their family, academic, and social systems.
Individuals & Family Members Affected by Eating Disorders
We are passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship to food, self, body, and weight. We have experience working at all levels of care ranging from eating disorder treatment facilities to collaborative care in outpatient settings.
We also know that family members, caregivers, and partners of individuals with eating disorders need their own support. We strive to be a safe place to land for those who may not be experiencing eating disorders themselves, but are still very much impacted by them.
